If you haven’t heard one of our holiday CDs before, you might be surprised, bewildered, or confused by these songs. This year, there’s only one song you may have heard before (The Pretenders’ “2000 Miles”), and the rest are about things like Santa’s poor work ethic, and a novel solution to our dependency on foreign oil.

As in years past, we feature singing robots, but now we have programmed them to perform duets with real, blood-filled humans. In addition, these songs feature a potent combination of whistling, glockenspiel, boot stomping, and ample amounts of Moog Synthesizer. And while it might not be obvious upon first listen, all these songs were written for, and in the spirit of, the holiday season.

Hopefully this website doesn't make it appear as this is my CD, as it's not. This year's collection of songs is by a stallar cast, including Rob Lynch, Hussalonia, and David Mussen, with performances by them, Joelle Labert, Alex Lynne, Joe Rozler, and more. Below the 2008 songs are all the songs we've done in previous years.

Despite the fact that we’re nearing the end of the first decade of the 21st century, singing robots are no more intelligible than in years past. So if you want to know what they’re singing about, there are lyrics available.

Happy Holidays!

Elves vs. Machines (Tim Mroz)
In order to fulfill the ever-growing demand for toys, the elves have been
slowly replaced with robotic machinery. What was one the providence of
elves gradually becomes the domain of machines. Finally relegated to
only simple duties such as cleaning reindeer stables, the elves fight
back. This song tells the story of the ensuing battle.
